Founder’s Club Brick Program
Community First has been working for the past 5 years with Hudson schools, parents and community members to develop assets in Hudson’s youth that prevent risky and promote thriving behaviors..
Community First is currently partnering with the Hudson Park Board to develop a teen and family park on Veteran’s Way. The area will become a destination for community members looking for outdoor recreational activities (basketball courts, skate board park, sand volleyball, pond and pavilion) that is a safe environment for youth and is close to the schools, library and downtown. The park will highlight the commitment of our community to make Hudson a great place to raise kids.
Twelve business-minded students from Hudson spent the last year planning a teen park for the city. Along the way, the students learned a valuable lesson: Planning a park is no walk in the park. Read the article
