Character Building Initiative
Community First received a grant from the Hudson Community Foundation, Hudson Kiwanis and Hudson Rotary.
Community First created a sports and activities panel comprised of coaches and community organization leaders that deal with youth. Working with The Edge, the program Coaching 4 Life was introduced from the band to the football field, and everyone was trained by Wade Salem the creator of Coaching 4 Life. The program concentrated and building the whole or complete child and emphasizes that every can help to build character.
Community First will enlist merchants to hang posters featuring the theme of the month and in the beginning of next year - downtown banners will hang featuring Hudson's kids in BALANCE.
